In between regular postings of This EMPIRE are “yesteryear” strips and sketches.

Please note: For more information click on an image or text highlighted in Navy Blue.

Throughout the year there is a series of conventions focusing on the medium of comic books.  An opportunity for fans to participate and hold programs and other events, and to meet experts, famous personalities, and each other.

Recently Jamie Noguchi writer/artist of Yellow Peril (a excellent comic you should be reading) highlighted some artists at this year’s American Library Association Annual Conference.  Well with a little digging or basically getting lost in the internets I came up another nice video which highlighted the event.
