Dang it I had a long weekend during the second week of August 2015 which push things back here. Pardon the delay back to the whimsical musings of Niall and Jamal. 

Being set to a bi-weekly (plus or minus) I missed out relaying some great geek-out news. 

The Adventures of Electra Woman and Dyna Girl (2016)

Electra Woman and Dyna Girl are reborn as Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart in a new online series! I can’t believe they are doing this show. 

Electra Woman and Dyna Girl is a Sid and Marty Krofft live action science fiction children’s television series from 1976. The program playfully, but deliberately, lampooned the superhero combo of Batman and Robin, taking many of its cues from the earlier Batman television series. Please note this a cut & paste cliff-note version from Wikipedia.

Damn, bringing back Sid and Marty Krofft madcap fun. Well, let wait-and-see how they adapt this idea our contemporary times.

Deadpool (2016)

The theatrical trailer was been released, Ryan Reynolds debuted the trailer on The Conan O’Brien Show. Okay that version is bleeped out for the standard broadcast.  Listed below are theatrical version, I really don’t need to tell you the difference between a green band trailer and red band trailer?

Oh here’s one nerd’s “plea“ for this film. Youtuber Black Nerd Rants, “Why Deadpool must be seen in theaters.”

Even though summer is winding down there is plenty of things to geek-out. How about a graphic novel, and some trade paperbacks?
