I forgot to mention last week that local(ly) NC Comicon was being held Nov 9th, 10th. Well last weekend was my first time going this local comic convention. Quite a surreal weekend, and experience a bit of “convention magic.” Unfortunately, I will not be able to post some pictures of the event maybe next week.

In memoriam, Nick Cardy artist passes away at 93
“Nicholas Viscardi (October 20, 1920 – November 3, 2013), known professionally as Nick Cardy or Nick Cardi, was an American comic book artist best known for his DC Comics work on Aquaman, the Teen Titans and other major characters. Cardy was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2005.”
