Do you like Adventure Time?

Danielle Corsetto cartoonist of Girls With Slingshots is writing an original graphic novel, Adventure Time Vol. 1: Playing With Fire. This book will be illustrated by Zachary Sterling (Adventure Time, Bravest Warriors) and featuring a cover by Stephanie Gonzaga.

Hiveworks Comics ” Go Get A Roomie Book One”

A comic about love, girls and beer. 175 full pages of comics made by Chloe over the last year put into color print for the first time.

This web comic follows the wild adventures of an upbeat hippie, living her life in love and joy. (And beer and sex.) Slightly NSFW (not safe for work), if you count the countless naked boobs as such, and updating Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Hope you enjoy your stay  –  Chloé C.

Local(ly) The ReSpace Design Competition

Registration is now open for ReSpace 48-Hour Build volunteers!

The 2012 competition ‘You Design It! We Build It!’, which focuses on small space design, green building, and sustainability, is currently accepting entries. They are on the hunt for talented architects, artists, builders, and dreamers with a knack for innovation. The challenge: Design a small, unique, and transportable structure that can be built with reuse materials. 

2013 – We are recruiting volunteers for our ReSpace event. We’ll be building around the clock from noon on Friday, Jan. 18 through noon on Sunday, Jan. 20. Shifts are divided into 4-hour increments, and space is limited.

The 48 hour build is being overseen by Habitat for Humanity Wake County using materials from their Raleigh, North Carolina ReStore.
