In between regular postings of This EMPIRE are “yesteryear” strips.  These segments will hopefully provide some interesting vignettes into Niall and Jamal’s past.

While I layout – rework – layout – rework my plot points for This EMPIRE today’s post will be another yesteryear comic this time featuring Tyrone Watson, Jamal’s younger sibling.

This bears repeating “Kickstarter is b-a-nan-a-s”

Johnny Wander, Kickstarter is over!

Wow they pulled it off with some great buy-in on producing their project.

Johnny Wander is a sweet charm-of-life comic by Yuko Ota and Ananth Panagariya. It’s been published on the web since 2009 and you can read all of it for free at johnnywander.com! The comic encompasses life after college, growing up, and all the little things in between. In 2010 we self-published Johnny Wander Vol. 1: Don’t Burn the House Down, followed by JW Vol. 2:Escape to New York in 2011.

GENETIKA: Graphic Novel – Darion D’anjou

Dr. Eugene Poulos is a genetics whiz on the corporate fast track. When he stumbles across a secret group with the key to the fountain of youth among other highly advanced technologies, Gene quickly finds himself alienated from family and friends, on the run from the police, wanted by the FBI, and worst of all hunted by a group of people who see and hear farther, think and move faster, never sleep, live forever, and who will stop at nothing to maintain the privileged secrecy of their existence.

Webcomics Weekly 1: Reboots

“The gang gets dragged out of retirement to discuss what happens when you want to move on from your work, and what kinds of decisions — good and bad — it can lead to. One very specific, recent example is discussed. A lot. Okay I’m just gonna say it it’s CAD*.”

I can see this latest podcast be one of the rotating topics at tonight’s #Sketchbomb-NC 🙂
